Hahah, but if you bring $50.000 home from a 1 month tour I don't think you'd be geeting such comments smile.gif I think she would send you to another one straight after smile.gif Especially if you make it to a TV or charts.

I'll tell her this and let you know what she says. laugh.gif You might want to check your caller ID before answering your phone though biggrin.gif If it says "Stevens" let the machine pick it up and if there are young children in the house cover their ears. laugh.gif laugh.gif

OMG, I almost died here recording the video for Tjchep. Please watch it and see how this job has become a real hazard smile.gif My carpet is completely burned, there were like 30 little pieces of the light bulb burning in flame and nearly killed me. My carpet looked like a Christmas tree for good 20 seconds until I shut the fire. Watch the video on (4:46) hahaha.

Sorry Tjchep, I uploaded the video on purpose so you can see what I have to deal with when giving these comments smile.gif I cried of laughing when I watched it again.

Thanks for the comments Emir i am fully avare that i could have done it better...... I have that problem that i am really lazy and dont have the patience and i remember that when i wrote the solo i was really not in the mood for doing it good and i must say i am sorry about that..... I usually takes the time to watch the chord progression and follow it but i dident this time......

I will try and do another take on this some time and maybe you can give me some feedback on it then.....

I am glad your ok man! ohmy.gif I moved through the video real slow and you could really see there was one piece on fire that almost hit you.

Maybe you should consider wearing some glasses or something incase there's a problem with the lamp. ph34r.gif I saw you look up at it at the end of Tolek video.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

I am so honored, Emir! I never expected so kind words, they really motivated me to work even more to get into music business. Man, you are just great! smile.gif Your advice is really useful and I´m going to try to fix everyhing. I knew about the last note and that pentatonic run, but thanks anyway for pointing it out.

You can expect me in the next collaboration for sure. It´s so much fun and a little challenge to create a solo.

Thank you a lot! You rock. smile.gif

Glad you're OK, Emir. You need to record behind an explosion-proof transparent shield like they do in "Mythbusters" ... and keep a fire blanket and extinguisher close by. Maybe these should be a standard issue to GMC instructors laugh.gif . You really have set the music world on fire ... laugh.gif

I'm also pleased to know that I'm not the only trumpet player at GMC ...

I told Kristofer GMC should pay us medical insurance hahahah. I will not turn that light on anymore. I have never seen that a bulb explodes into 50 pieces and each of them burning in flame for 20 seconds. Very dangerous. About the trumpet sound it's not only you smile.gif But this one was more like a bagpipes but I forgot the word.
