The average sprinting speed of a human swimming is 3.7 mph that abou 971 hours and about 40 days at max speed. Maybe he should have just made a phone call to spread some olympic spirit -------------------- |

haha some people are crazy.
Check this guy out. He apparently was the first to swim across the Atlantic and it's obvious he spent a lot of time in preparation. Some people are nuts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beno%C3%AEt_Lecomte This post has been edited by spacebran: Aug 3 2012, 06:27 AM |

Oh man, he just went out on his own like that without food or water? Crazy!
I like how that wiki includes "he was followed by a Great White for 5 days". -------------------- |

Some people are nuts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beno%C3%AEt_Lecomte Man, it is just incredible to even contemplate such a feat. It must take balls of steel to even be in the water, knowing there are sharks nearby.. It's a bit unfair how they try to cast doubt on his achievement in the wiki article though... some people just have to try and pick fault don't they ? |
