Hey guys, many of us at the beginning of our journey, and even later on for many as well, struggle for creating or adopting a style of choice, whether its for the band or as a solo guitarist. Im gonna list many styles/genres but mostly for metal, so we can disscuss its characteristics, likes/dislikes, etc. This will help us know more about styles and their characteristics.
some are very popular and recognizable, but i will list them anyways:

Speed Metal

Grindcore
Glam/Hair Metal

Neoclassical Metal
you can add more if you like, it is interesting to learn more about other genres and what are they about!
So heres the thing, pick a genre and explain it your own words, someone else may add important stuff as well, or you may ask about another genre, its all about learning!
