QUOTE (KirkHammettfan) Kris, When watching your "pentatonic one on one" were you actually picking each and every individual note as you were flying through the scales? Or were you doing some sort of pull off/ pick with all fingers of your right hand kind of thing? What do you recomend for such speed building? thanks.......... Hey KirkHammettfan, Yes I pick all the notes in those runs (the pentatonic ones). We'll be dealing with that question the next two lessons (stay tuned next monday). Basically you need to practice two note per string runs instead of the very common three notes per string runs. Practice this kind of pentatonic run: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/memberson.../The_motto2.htm I also believe there are stuff like that in the Curious Coincidence lesson. You can be incredibly fast at 3nps, you still won't stand a chance picking 2 nps if you haven't practiced it... kepp rocking K |
