How To Down Tune A Floyd Rose, HELP!!! |

I think you should have bought a 7 string guitar in the first pace, or a baritone, or atleast a guitar with a fixed bridge. Especially if you want to change tuning from time to time - Eb D Db and C - at least I understood it like that.
Change to thicker strings Adjust the tension screws (the ones that hold the springs - you have to unscrew the cover plate in the back first). You'd have to turn em counter clockwise. Tune your guitar. Repeat adjusting screws and tuning until the Floyd Rose tremolo is aligned with the body. When your done tuning down to the tuning of your choice, stick with it!!! Tuning up or down from there and you'll have to adjust the spring tension screws all over again. -------------------- My bands homepage

maybe you should try getting a detuner so u can detune without touching ur floyd rose. boss sells one:
