I find myself jumping around like a rabbit, going from one lesson to another. I need to Break this habit..I need help with alternate picking, I'm working on legato exercises from gab, there great.
I'm almost finished with my first neo classical solo for beginners I'm at the last few licks, I will post it.
I want to be a speed demon.

Hey mate! Great to see you motivated! I wonder if you have been following the routine that I've suggested at the mentoring thread.

Link HERE.

It's important to be patient and go deep with each lesson that you decide working to get the best of your practice time.

Is it really a bad thing to 'jump around like a rabbit', if it makes you practice intensely?

If it inspires you to play a lot, then it is your fastest ticket to being a speed demon. (+ you will get so much more from your playing sessions than just speed)

Ok, then I def think Gab's mentoring course is the place to start - you probably need to get comfortable with some basic (legato) patterns. Once you have practiced those, you will start understanding how the longer lines are put together.

Hi mate, Kris is right, we need to work on some basic stuff before you get into more complex licks and phrases. If you agree, let's continue this discussion at the mentoring thread to build the best guitar plan for you, what do you think?
