Hello all,

I just joined GMC last week, and this is my first post on the forums.

I have been playing guitar on and off for about 11 years. My main guitar is a Dean Evo. I also have a Dean ML Shadow, for when I need the whammy bar.

My favorite bands are Pantera, Lamb of God, and In Flames.

My guitar skills are somewhere around intermediate. I would really like to improve my lead guitar skills. I was drawn to this site, because this is the first site that I saw Pantera solo lessons that looked and sounded correct.

I am a little confused about which direction I should go when it comes to lessons. I know that my sweep picking is horrible and I have not memorized any scales. I would say I am a good rhythm guitar player and I dont typically have trouble with playing through most songs, until I get to the lead or solo.

What direction do you think I should take?
