What's That In The Coffee?, Close call to a gross disaster |

What do you think of when you hear of coffee? If you are like me, you think of early mornings with the coffee beside the computer, checking facebook, or shredding out the guitar with coffee as your after-burner...ehem..listening to an annoying cricket in the A/C!!!
 Anyway....You probably don't think of "grand-daddy long-leg" spiders do you? Because that's what I found trying to escape the pot as the coffee started brewing!!!  They are actually called "Opiliones," or harvestmen, and are technically not in the spider family (I have just learned from the great Wikipedia.) You can be sure I washed the coffee pot inside and out very thoroughly with soap and hot water before continuing the brewing.

How funny  They definitely aren't poisonous, but I have never heard of one in a coffee-pot before. Maybe it was after an insect that went inside it or something. -------------------- All the elders have fallen down...
