I have friends in Ireland, and they consider blazing hot when temperature is 25 !!! Btw. I don't like SUmmer too much, it makes me drink beer whole day and sleep in the afternoon!! I spent my teenage years living in a desert where during the summer the temperature was frequently between 45-50C (115-125F). An English Summer is usually in the low 20s so anything between 20-25 is hot there. When it goes above 25C it becomes a national news story We usually go see my mum for a few weeks in the Summer. She lives up in the North East of England and this year my daughter spent the entire time complainng about the cold even though she was wearing her winter clothes.
