Hi,

To start with:
I'm only learning for (even less) then 2 years and own an Ibanez RG270B.
I use a pod XT and headphones, from time to time I use my Alesis studio monitors,
I don't want the rest of my house and neighbours to "enjoy" my "effort". smile.gif
And am in need of an other guitar.

I mainly like Funky licks, Funk strumming, Talking-Heads-Style stuff, ... some BritPop and rock&roll from time to time.
If I have a weak moment and want to play heavy I still have my Ibanez wink.gif

I currently have a Mexican '52 reissue Telecaster ( rewired )
and a Stratocaster, build as follows : squier body medio '90s, Warmoth Birdseye maple neck with rosewood fretboard, Kluson tuners, 2 fender vintage '64 pickups and a Seymour Duncan distortion trembucker.
Both in test.

I thought of buying a standard American Telecaster but ended up loving a Baja Telecaster at some shop.
I had the impression it was far more funky then the standard AM Tele and waaay more funky then the '52.
The strat is a rather nice guitar too, very versatile.

Any advice is welcome.

Cheers,

-Jean
