Attempt To Cover The Halloween Theme, ...sadly very little knowledge

I haven't looked at any tabs, I'm just going on sound, so I could be off. But the intervals at least I think are correct. Anyway, if you tune your guitar to drop-D, crank up the distortion, you could could use power chords in place of the single-note riff, using the G# as a pedal tone (mute with your picking hand, too) and make this sound really metal-style. Once you get the main riff sounding good like that, record it (Audactity or whatever), and you could then play with lead lines over that. This appears to be the key of G#-minor, so work with that scale and try to come up with something cool. You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
