hey, im thinking about ordering some equipment from overseas.

its a little cheaper than ordering from the UK...

im from the UK so will i get charged by customs or anything thats not said on the site?

I ordered a guitar from America, but customs charge only applies if goods valued over $1000. But this is in Australia. Your best bet is to google your country's customs website, should have information.

Depends on what you're ordering acually, I've browsed around and UK is cheaper on UK products like Matshall and Laney, espcially Laney is a bargain in the UK.

I've ordered several times from germany and I only paid what's on the price tag. I suspect the customs could check your stuff and charge you with an import tax... but what the heck, I assume they have more important things to do.

im ordering a line 6 POD X3 once i sell my POD XT.

ive read ont ehri site that there is no import tax on anything in the EU... so i guess that means i pay what it says on the site....

if so im so glad i done that little extra searching. only £326 for a POD X3 Live with shipping. costs £350 without shipping in the uk tongue.gif
