In the speed licks solo lesson you do a lot of artificial harmonics. How do you do them? I think somehere in GMC it said to sort of hit the string with your thumb but that isn't working.

You more touch the string very lightly after you picked it with your pick. Pinch harmonics is something that comes with time and practice, first you have to know HOW to do it, then you practice it and make sure you are doing it right. There are many threads about this, here's one https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...?showtopic=2350

I tryed to learn pinch harmonics for a long time, my guitar teacher was really trying to show me how to do it. But i never learnt, so i tryed to figure it out at home in my own way, and suddenly one day i could do it. But as RIP Dime said there is already a lot of topics about this.
