Thanks everyone!
It is one of the best Acoustics I have played, well maybe besides that Gumbo hand made Guild or som! I will get her cleaned up and post some sound clips when I can. I installed a Dimarzio thin line pickup under the bridge because that is what you did back in the day. I will also try and find a MIC to record a different clip as well. Cheerio's and thanks, Skillet Here is some more information on the spec because some have asked for it. Alvarez DY61 - solid cedar top, burled mahogany sides and back, ebony fretboard with slotted diamond and abalone slash inlay at 12th fret, ebony bridge, 1-11/16" nut width, 25-1/2" scale, maple-bound body with 5-ply wood top purfling, abalone rosette, gold tuners with tortoise plastic buttons, Signature Edition. This is an Alvarez Signature Guitar, Handmade by Kazuo Yairi. LINK WITH MORE PICS: Not my guitar but the pictures have better lighting. http://www.elderly.com/items/20U-8827.htm This post has been edited by UncleSkillet: Aug 19 2009, 05:37 AM -------------------- "Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
