It's interesting to see how virtuosity is much more than how fast you can play, and the fact that the most difficult piece to play is based on intonation difficulty shows how important is training year for a musician. Webern - 5 pieces for sting quartet. Besides 1/4 tones it employs 'extended' technique on the strings: using the wood of the bow, playing on the bridge, lotsa harmonics, etc. But in spite of all that it's an incredibly beautiful piece of music. Penderecki - Threnody Crumb - Black Angels Xenakis - Metastasis Ligeti - Lux Aeterna There's a hundred year's worth of stuff like this. You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
