Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Ok guys and gals,

We are into our first week of the REC program and I think I can speak on behalf of all GMC staff and members that this program is shaping up to be great! smile.gif On to topic...

I have seen quite a few takes that were really good but scores have suffered due to poor audio quality. I highly suggest that you request the backing track from any Instructor from whom you wish to submit a lesson. This will certainly improve your score and also help you with your recording skills.

Just PM that Instructor or, if they have a private board, ask for it there. If the Instructor is no longer active, then we can work around this as well. Just pm me with which lesson BT you need, and we will work it out.

Remember, Audio Quality is 1/5 of your average! You will still be graded on the tone of your guitar and how well it fit's the lesson, but no need to have your score suffer due to the backing.

Cheers,
Steve
