Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Not only can we tell it by how you groove along, but so do I when listening! This is a major increase in listening experience - and timing is arguably the single most important aspect of musical performance in general - so well done! There are some slight hand sync issues - those tell me your left hand still needs to do the same rhythmic progress as your right hand has done with this lesson. Also your right hand would still benefit from more loose/relaxed movements. None of the above take away the fact that this is a very enjoyable listening experience - so I will give you a 9 on this level 3 lesson. Keep up the amazing progress! Your progress is very notable here so your hard work is giving great results! Congrats! Your take sounds very good. Being very demanding I can add this two thoughts: - The melodic section still has room to sound tighter. (mostly in the last part) - Your right hand seems a bit tense when playing downpicking. You are also giving a good performance which is crucial imho. If the player is not in to what is being played, it always shows through. You clearly are in to and it makes the watching of it more enjoyable always. As for technique, your hand synch is getting better each time from the look of it and you have a strong palm mute in this one than in the last one I saw which is giving it a very metallic crunch. This is key for playing In Flames or any really heavy music imho. You are transitioning well between the power chords and the scale bits as well. Making the transition is not always easy for folks. I think you have solved tempo problem Now try to do something with your powerchord fretting, weird habit. It all sounds really solid. If I had to complain on anything I think I would point 2 things. I feel like there is just a slice too much of unnecessary moevemnts to casue some scrataching noise, comparing to original take.
