Hey guys! Have you seen this movie???

I have seen it some weeks ago and I loved it. It's about a writer that finds the way to go back in time and interact with his heroes. I really recommend it!

If you could travel in time to know your heroes from the past... when and where would you go? who would you like to meet?

Far too many to list!!!
Although there a few that I would put at the top of my list:-
Leo Fender/George Fullerton.
Bill Hicks (my ALL time comedy hero!!)
Stevie Ray.
Jimi.
Van Gogh.
Shakespeare.

That'll do for a start!!

I have indeed seen it and it's one of the best movies from last year. Very moving, with a great, warm feel. Loved every single bit of it. Especially the message that every generation is disappointed with their present, dreaming of "good ol' days when everything was better". I haven't seen such a powerful movie for a long time, that's for sure! So glad I watched it at cinema biggrin.gif

Some of my heroes from the past I'd love to meet are Ronnie James Dio (my favorite singer), George Carlin (had a deep inpact on how I view life today), Antonio Vivaldi (genius is not a big enough word to describe this man), Alan Turing (I'm a software engineer so this guy has to be my hero biggrin.gif) and Ritchie Blackmore (he's alive but I'll probably never meet my greatest guitar hero)... I'd have a LOT to talk about with them biggrin.gif

As for the places where I'd love to go:

1. Pink Floyd's P.U.L.S.E.
2. Woodstock
3. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica in their prime
4. Pretty much every hard rock band gig from my father's generation - I grew up with this music and it's sad I wasn't able to hear so many rock legends live, like Led Zeppelin or Uriah Heep for instance sad.gif
