Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Really nice take man! Good tone match to the track. Your hand look like in very good sync. The only detail I would try to improve is "noise gating" in the breaks. Your left hand muting looks good. Maybe it's wort to review what happens with right hand at those pauses. You might like to use a soft part of the palm to boost the muting effect. Around 0:42 You can hear that the last note becomes sort harmonic and it is not muted clear enough. Excellent work anyway! smile.gif

Excellent timing and chord changes.

As Darius said, you could improve your muting ability. I've said on some of your other REC takes that you play with your hand close to the bridge. This is ok but sometimes you might need to alter your hand position just to add extra palm muting to certain notes, ok ?

Hey mate,

Nothing else to add here, aside what the guys have already stated - aside from the fact that you should experiment with your hand position in respect to palm muting. Move it further or closer to the bridge in order to see what sort of effect does occur due tothe position you are in smile.gif
