Here is the first 3 minutes of a song Im working on, I recorded some vocals for it as well, Which are better quality than the last vocal takes I did. I normally dont upload unfinished songs, but I wanted to show this one cause Im really excited about it, and I think vocal takes are quite interesting smile.gif

Here are the lyrics, I had to modify them to fit the riffs from the original ones up in the lyrics board

You are the only one
Who can set me free
Unchain me from my weights
I am alone
In this endeavour
When I doubt I turn to you

I am too weak
To carry on
My hearts beat is slowing
My eyes dont see
As quite as clear right now
My emotions have failed me

So I turn to you
And you alone
Who can set me free
When I need to be
Myself

I have been abandoned
Far too many times
I have been left alone
I have been betrayed
Enough to know that you
Are all that remains

I am far too fragile
To bear this weight alone
I need another hand against this river
My back is aching from this burden
But I dont give a (Expletive!)
We can take anything

So I turn you
And you alone
Who can set me free
When I need to be myself
You are the last
Remaining here with me
The only I depend on
The only one I trust

This was really cool! smile.gif Song is really heavy and the vocals fit nicely.
The vocals remind me of Satyricon actually, same style of grunting and agressiveness, and thats not a bad thing in my opinion.

I do have one point of criticism though wink.gif The drums, the sound is ok actually, but the programming makes the song loose momentum at times where there's no hihats or cymbals. As an example, I'm referring to the part at 00:50 and not the intro section.

Yeah, drums are always a weak point with me. I wanna save up some money so I can get my drummer to do live recordings, Just making it sound that much better.
