Megadeth Made Easy, Lesson By Ben Higgins |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate, nice take! It has some issues but it sound good. As you said, your fingers need some hard training because you can't play 100% fluently. I think that you have to start working on left hand exercises. My suggestion is to check our some legato exercises (maybe land of legato series) as well as more metal rhythm lessons to work on your left hand picking. Your timing is good, so it's just a matter of training. Also, your guitar is a bit out of tune.
Be patient and keep on working hard. -------------------- My lessons

Hi Cristophe, this is really quite good ! I was expecting it to be so much worse from your description so I was pleasantly surprised.
It just needs more practise at this sort of thing, that's all. I still remember having trouble with moving chords and fingers to other frets.. they would slip up or not quite fret the note properly. This is not a big problem at all, it will just get better as you do more and more of it. Your picking was quite tight too, so this is all cool ! However, it wouldn't hurt to give yourself some left hand work... Gabriel has already mentioned my Land of Legato series, which you can find in this list here - thanks Gab https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Ben-Higgins/ If you need any guidance at all please feel free to ask me any time ! EDIT: I've just seen my message !! Haha This post has been edited by Ben Higgins: Sep 19 2012, 07:21 PM |
