To me it's more about the length (days) of the trip than the distance. But anyway, these are my basics when I go onvacation:
Other than the obvious (clothes, etc.), my camera & psp, maybe a netbook. If it's a "cultural" trip a guide of the city, and if it's a "beach" trip solar protection and a hat! . Oh, and a AC/DC world adapter. You never know haha. -------------------- Guitars:
Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster, Ibanez RG2570MZ, Epiphone SG G-400 Amp: Vox AC4TVH head + V112TV cab Effects: Vox Satchurator, Vox Time Machine, Dunlop CryBaby, Boss MT-2, Boss CE-5, Boss TU-2, Boss ME-70 Recording: Line-6 POD X3 + FBV-Express, Pandora PX5D GMC wants YOU to take part in our Guitar-Wikipedia! If you bring a fresh pair of underwear and socks for everyday you're gone, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, you're half way there. Wear one set of clothes, and bring an extra pair of pants/shorts and a couple of t-shirts. This should all easily fit into a backpack like this. You will still have plenty of room to spare for a laptop, camera, a book or two to read, and some food to snack on. Just remember to roll up all your clothes to save space. And if you want to take an extra pair of shoes, put all your socks and underwear inside the shoes. Its all a matter of efficient packing
