Hey guys here are the licks that I was playing during my polyrhythm lesson!
As you remember you can create your own licks by creating a five or seven note sequence you can use any notes you want
and applying it over 4/4 signature!
5/4
Lick 1

------7-----------------7----------10--------7-----------9---
-----------8---10------------8---------------------8---------
--7-9---9----7----7--9----9-----7------7--9----9------7-----
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Lick 2

-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
--------7------------9-----------7-----------11--------------
---------------9------------------------9--------------------
--7--10----10-----7------7--10-----10-----7-----------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Lick 3

---8---5--------------8--5-----------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
------------8--7--5----------8--7--5-------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Lick 4

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------7--------------7--9------
-----------------------------------------------7------------7--9----------7--9----------7--9------------
---------------7-------------7--9--------7--9---------7--9---------7--9--------------9------------------
---------7--9---------7--9---------7--9-----------9-----------------------------------------------------
---7--10----------10------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7/4
Lick 5

-------------------------------------------------------------
--------------8--------------8------------------------------
--------7-8-9---------7-8-9---------------------------------
--7-8-9---------7-8-9---------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Lick 6

--10-7----------------10-7----------------------------------
--------10-7---------------10-7-----------------------------
--------------10-9-7------------10-9-7----------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget that those licks are the sequence and you have to repeat it in order to get polyrhythmic sound!

We were also talking about stretching and string skipping so here is another lick
4/4
Lick 7

--------------10------------------------------10-----------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
--10--14--16-----10--14--16------10--14--16-----10--14--16------
------------------------------14------------------------------14--
------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------

I would love to see your ideas so please post your licks here!!!!
