I'm having total writers block.
Usually I can hear where I can take a song but I just CANT think of ANYTHING to go with this. The quality is terrible, my apologies I threw it together in 5 minutes as it came to me. It's based around E. https://soundcloud.com/dave-wood-31/first-recording Any ideas?

Cool stuff! I would continue with the same progression, similar drum groove but with hit hat, and with guitar playing one open chords, or simpler arpeggios. It would be the verse for the song and could have the same extension than the intro (since drums starts with over heads).
The pre-chorus could have an extra guitar, and a different progression that generates tension to finally explode to the chorus. Does it make sense? -------------------- My lessons
