I had an idea this morning.. More of a dream actually...
But imagine in maybe a few years, when GMC becomes even bigger than it is...
Maybe for the 5th anniversary, or 10th...
Wouln't it be cool to put up a big GMC party?
We could rent a big place, have all the teachers play parts of theyr own material.. A few lessons.. Jams with teachers and students..
We charge a small fee for attendees which would cover plane tickets and other travel expenses for teachers.
Since GMC is worldwide, we could move to a different lolcation the following year.
All teachers could sell their products there (cds.. dvds...)
Lessons and concerts for the attendees..
Maybe a few contests to win GMC.net passes.. Contests to win individual lessons with instructors..
Wouldn't it be cool?

The Idea is great but since it's worldwide community a meeting is nearly impossible to set up

Wow, love it - the annual GMC Meet-and-Jam, would be amazing!

The key would be to make it self-funding I guess, and it could start out small and grow smile.gif The first might be 10 people in a church hall in Sweden, the 10th, Ceasars Palace Las Vegas!

A dream, but a great one to work towards ...

This wouldnt be impossible. What you would have to do is. Rent a place whereever its going ot be held at. Post a BIG GMC Thread about it saying osmehting about RSVP so you can get everything setup for yourself if you could go. Expenses maybe me high, but we can contribute for that biggrin.gif.

This GMC meeting idea have been brought up many times, and I think its awesome! I'd be happy to pay for my own flight and hotel to get there, where ever it would be.

Great idea. I know we are all in other parts of the world, but it poss to do. We could have several at diff locations. Yes, we would not all be in the same place at the same time, but the spirit of GMC would be there! biggrin.gif Maybe have one in the midwest, Europe, canada..etc. Any thoughts?

Yeah it's a great idea!! I already talked about it earlier this year. My idea was the big GMC OPEN CLASS.

Anyway i think this might come true one day.

Multiple locations would make it 1000X more complicated sad.gif Maybe after GMC has taken over the world biggrin.gif

For now it will be challenging to get it to happen in even one place, but I bet we will do it eventually!

I love the idea! I would definitely save up some money to attend, it's guaranteed to be one hell of a time.
This is a great goal for GMC to strive for, and you never know, maybe with some hard work, within the next few years it won't be just a dream anymore cool.gif
