The guy is an arrogant drunk who behaves like a spoiled child in public...when I said clown, I meant CLOWN.

Yeah, he refers to sweet home alabama in the song too. But its good to know, that Kid rock changed. He was a detroit-rap wannabe first.

Unfortunately, you are correct. But, we're talking about Kid Rock right now. I don't spend any money on any of the people in music that project any kind of negative image. There's a whole list of them.

As far as I'm concerned, good music does not have to coexist with drunken, drug addled debauchery that is often promoted behind the scenes by the music industry to sell more records. If we don't support that kind of behavior, it will go away.

The worlds' top players can't reach their level of playing by partying all the time. There is a difference between "rock stars" and true musicians. My money goes to the latter.

This thread started out about the music and has now descended into just Kid Rock bashing in general. Don't get me wrong I don't really like Kid Rock's music but "All Summer Long" is a perfectly good song. He's taken a classic and used it to create another good song, which is going to bring publicity to the original song anyway.

So many artists do it I can't see why you're all suddenly in uproar just because it is an artist whose rap/metal career was slightly laughable.

I don't think anyone is bashing Kid Rock. I know I'm not...hell, I respect him. Kid studied at the Clown Institute, with a double major in clown behavior and clown music. He graduated clown cum laude, that's pretty impressive. I know I'd like to get close enough to him to get an autograph...or something...what a clown!

All kidding aside, it never ceases to amaze me how some "artists" become so popular. I have to say that I find a lot of the American music scene downright embarrassing, particularly, the rap scene.

Haha, well said FrankW. I'll have to agree with you. Kid Rock is a clown, and as Trond said I do not have any respect for him. As I for one cannot respect artists that cannot write their own material. I also haven't seen any examples of Kid Rock doing this..
