On screen tab during the lesson is extremely helpful. Makes understanding what is being played, a lot easier.

Really love onscreen text. Especially some of Muris's lessons where the chords come up in the top right and I also like the tab in Kris's lessons.

On screen tabs would be cool ohmy.gif
But the viewing windows are a small so if you put tabs on it, it'll probably get a bit unclear seeing the fingerings. huh.gif

Yeah it would be awesome. Is there any new feature around the corner that allows us to resize the videos? I know it may reduce the quality, but maybe we can resize videos like resize picture filse, so it would be up to the use how big the video should be according to the quality.

I like the idea of the chords coming up, as OrganisedConfusion has said, like in Muris`s lessons just lately.

Too much on screen text (for me anyway) would be a distraction.

Seeing the chords names is usefull, but it doesn't really help if you`re learning a shred part tongue.gif laugh.gif

I think a solution would be that the video comes in a new page and that it`s shown at the top left, so that all the remaining space can be used for the TAB.
This way you dont need to reduce the video quality and you can see the TABS and the fingerings on the same screen ohmy.gif

I think it's fine the way it is. Having the tab in GP is perfect for me. I use that to follow when I don't have the video to look at. I would think that more requirements added for instructors makes it more time consuming for them to create lessons, resulting in less instructions being made. More work and time. But maybe not. I don't make them so I don't know how difficult it is.

The best thing to me is that the video's are broken up into smaller pieces that can be easily learned. My 2 cents. wink.gif

Well I actually do the same thing so I totally changed my mind tongue.gif blink.gif unsure.gif laugh.gif

But I think that what I said before would be a good thing if there would come some function like that smile.gif

All these Ideas in this topic are indeed great. However I wouldnt want to over work you Ivan tongue.gif . So maybe in replace of you putting the tab below the video, you could just make a onscreen tab. That way, Its more of a watch you playing it and we see the tab right there. Get what im saying ?

ITs a great thought, but the tab is already down there, and the video size is too small for tabs imho. But I will try to put everything I can on screen if it is both functional and looks good wink.gif
