I'm thinking some singing a la James Hetfield - Sad but true.
Also ending with that fast part reminds me of Metallica, and that's not bad, you worked well with this one.
Only part I would change is the one where the bass stands out, it needs some more power IMO.

(What did you pay For Ezdrummer, I need something like that?)

Thanks for comments. Bass sound is my weak point. I haven't found "a good one" sound.

(I pm'd you a thomann link for Ezdrummer)

cool riffs, great drums. I really like the octaves and the faster part. the bass is indeed a little weak. And guitar needs some more power. And drop b rocks!

First off, well done! Writing, producing, mxing, a tune from start to finish is always a worth challenge so hats off to making a cool tune.

After listening through a few times, it does seem that there is some space in there that could be filled with guitar leads with a major melody through line, or vocals, or strings, etc. In essence, it sounds like the background track is done and is ready for the final element whatever that might be.

Very nice. I like the intro especially the way you went from left to right. Very nice mix in my opinion.

The snare sounded a bit different to me. Not necessarily bad but it was different and it seemed to be almost overbearing at the end. This is just me nitpicking. I would say thats the one thing on the track I would try and tweak.

Really nice work man.

For Todd:
Thanks for the nice comments. Yes it's a very satisfying to finish something what you have been doing like 1,5 months. Thinking it almost everyday, listening different demos of it, rearranging guitar parts, recording a new ideas. Like maniac...

"Honey, what are you doing ?"
"I'm mixing my song"
"Come to watch tv with me"
"Ok, give me 20 minutes"
"You said that almost one hour ago !!"
"Oh..." wink.gif

But yeah like you said, at this point it is "a backing" for vocals and I would add some guitatrs to back up ex. vocal melody.

For mad:
Thanks for nice comments, yes I need to add some power to bass guitar.

For Fingerspasm

Thanks for liking it, It means a lot to me.
I have to check out the snare sound...

Hi guys!

Here's a new mix. Now the bass is louder enough. I used the Ezmix program and I actually like it, because it's kinda easy to use and good for home users like myself.

Nice mixing. Did you just use the presets from EZMix or did some yourself?

The overall song is good to my hears. It has a Lamb Of God feeling to me but I agree with Todd, I can't really see Lead Guitars in there, if it's your idea just to add vocals, than maybe it will grow bigger.

Overall, nice job.

I'm listening to the new mix - yeah, it sounds way better. wink.gif I really like what you got going here! I love drop b. But currently my strings are only thick enough to handle drop c. This makes me want a 7-string. laugh.gif I gotta get EZDrummer, cuz my LMMS stinks at drums. smile.gif
