as you have a GT8 have a look at this forum . There's probably a patch on there somewhere (might have to do a search for it and info on how to download it to your GT8. I think he uses Treadplate sound with more compressor on it than gain, and a bit delay/reverb effect.. i came very close to his sound with my POD2

I managed to get a sound pretty close to for the love of god with my PODxt, thanks to Andrew and Marcus for helping me around the thing
 .
