Are we supposed to vote for more than one take, like in GI? rolleyes.gif

Sort of..
You can give the votes on the different voting options to different entries smile.gif

One can your Songwriting/Composition vote, and another can get your Technique/Playing vote etc. smile.gif

aha, so there will be three different polls?
One for each category, but all the votes are worth the same and just put together? huh.gif

Of course, there is a possibility to cheat with a competition like this..
But why bother, hopefully nobody chooses to sink that low smile.gif

Don't give us ideas!!! ohmy.gif

i would enter this copetition, however, the money I would spend on a backing track would be unneccesary (the drum player would be much better than the guitarist... dry.gif ) so I'm working on a song anyway, have a riff and stuff, but for the solo I figure out about a note of it a day. fifty note solo=I'll get done in mid august.

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Please join with whatever you got smile.gif

You can score points on songwriting skills as well as mixing etc.
The backingtrack is not all that matters in this competition, although it helps smile.gif

There will be a poll.

Voting will consist of three choices:
* Best song/composition (songwriting)
* Best technique/playing
* Best recording/mix

Hey Paal smile.gif, got a little question about the voting I'd like to ask. How will the different categories of voting decide the overall winners? Will all someones votes from all the categories be added up?

Wouldn't it be cool to do it in REC style? Like you can rate every video with the three different categories from 0-5, whole numbers only?

haha, otherwise I'm afraid I get "0 votes" wink.gif

I know, but I extended the deadline because of what happened to Marc_Maiden.
Read about it here: LINK!
