Hey guys! Today I had a reunion with a possible producer for new Cirse's album. He is a really nice guy and we talked a lot about the importance of the song by itself. He talked about doing a very intensive pre-production of the songs. I gave him 10 new songs and he will give me his opinion in a week. The guy is called Alejandro Vazquez and the last two albums that eh produced are:
I just wanted to share this experience and also to ask you if you have any producer that you like. I use to follow producers discographies. -------------------- My lessons

I LOVE CARAJO - they have an awesome groove! I mean, I started headbanging the very instant the drums kicked in unfortunately there's no rock producers in here you are lucky to be able to work with one. yeah! Carajo is the biggest punk metal here. Their guitar tone is always awesome! Sounds awesome ! What is the first song about ? It has a luchador, an old man and a naked woman ?? This is a fast translation of the lyrics. In the roar of the anxiety The mind begins to warm, The nightmare becomes real Upon awakening! Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. My sword desenfundare, My salvation empuñare. We will attack the roots That bind us! Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. Hooooo! We dropped the mantle, We cover my vision. The mortal world injected acid In your hundred. Acid! (x2) Pretend, that you do not accept you. Pretending that to you, do not accept A full embrace. Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. Hooooo! We dropped the mantle, We cover my vision, The world injected acid the acid In our hundred. Time spent in pre prep is always good as it will minimise time wasted at recording/mixing. Personally I like producers who can communicate a clear idea of what they want and who then allow us engineers to get on with our work. The producers who are annoying are the ones who can't communicate clearly and/or don't have at least a basic understanding of the different stages of production and so have unreasonable expectations and/or are inconsistent and/or try to tell us how to record/mix/master. I really agree with this! -------------------- My lessons
