I saw that the UK plans to hit zero carbon by 2050. It's a bold plan to be sure. It is in keeping with the NO MAR CARS THAT RUN PETROL law that kicks in 2030 in the land of tea and crumpets. Also a bold move. Going to be tricky though but it's on track.
what sorta shocked me was seeing that oil company CHEVRON says that they will be carbon neutral by 2050? CHEVRON Oil? Their main product is, OIL which is not a carbon neutral product. Mining oil is not carbon neutral either. how does a company that only sells carbon emitting products plan to go to zero carbin emissions? Hmm.. Evidently CHEVRON says it is moving away from it's primary product. OIL. And pivoting towards renewables. Seems a bit of a stretch that an oil company is going to stop selling oil, but we shall see I do hope chevron pivots to carbon neutral energy as it may save them as a company. *check out this solo lesson https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Whammy-Lead/ This post has been edited by Todd Simpson: Oct 20 2021, 03:34 AM |
