The BLOCK CHAIN is coming to take over Music royalties. Instead of doing it the current way, getting fractions of penny for a stream of your music, software vendors are trying to come up with a new platform based on the same technology that BIT COIN uses, essentially. This would allow anyone to control their own music royalty payments and rights and allow people to skip intermediary steps to some degree. However, it's all still pretty theoretical. Also, most folks are still trying to understand how this all works and are a bit reluctant to jump in on it. I found a video that breaks it down in about 3 minutes.
