Hey guys, i'm looking into getting a "real" audio interface.
Budget is at about 300 Euro, but don't be afraid if you can recommend something really nice a bit above that.

I will be recording my guitar and bass with the interface. I want to be able to do 3 things:
Record straight from my POD X3
Record with a microphone (micing up my amp)
Record with software modellers (ReValver)

I mostly use my PC today, but it would be great with an interface that also supports Mac because I have a macbook aswell.

The most important things ofcourse are audio quality and low low low latency monitoring.
I will be monitoring with just headphones at first but will be buying monitors later.

Any input?

In my honest opinion, Echo Audio is the best soundcards you can find if you don't plan on spending BIG BUCKS! smile.gif

Check out the Echo Audiofire 4
Here's a review: LINK!

E-MU, Steinberg, Edirol etc., also have some good soundcards you can check out! smile.gif

Im using a Focusrite Saffire LE - I´m quite happy with it and it got great reviews.
Can be found on the same page as audiopaal pointed out - http://www.gigasonic.com/focusrite-saffire-le.html

Might be worth a look

Cheers
