Hi everyone!

Been playing around with this new product from Pitch-Key which makes changing tunings quick and kinda fun.

The tuning accuracy is really good which surprised me but it has a very nice little micro adjustment tool for fine tuning when setting up. Cool idea (could be cheaper though for what it is)

I made a quick video demonstrating it

Chris

Nice! Is it tricky to install?

Takes about 20 seconds to get installed then just tweak the tuning with the little adjuster. Here's the instruction guide which has illustrations. http://www.pitch-key.com/instructions/

Would love to try 3 or more on one guitar for some crazy mid song tuning madness!

Looks simple indeed. If this kind of product has not existed before, it will interesting to see what impact it has!

Cool smile.gif So it's like a "Fine Tuner" on a floyd rose sorta? But for guitars that don't have locking terms with fine tuners?

As klasaine linked they are more for setting an exact note so when you turn the wheel it drops straight to that note rather than 'fine' tuning like a floyd.

Pretty interested to see the writing possibilities with it!

I know upright basses have had a similar system forever especially in orchestra's so they can drop to double the cello lines an octave below,

Gotcha!! my bad smile.gif Now I'm getting it. Hmm. I wonder why the DTuna is only for the low string. I wonder if something like that would work on each string??
