This a really stupid question but could I plug My Pod x3 live directly into a guitar cabinet, as in using the pod as a head. my monitors have just gone dead; and I know someone who is selling a Marshall cab at a reasonable price, It might be worth it as i'm gonna buy a Head in the next couple of months. is it possible or not because the way i see it its a speaker so why shouldn't it work please dont laugh at me lol

I never owned a line 6 pod of any type but i don't think it's possible, is there a line out that says 8 or 16 ohms on the back?

The pod is not capable of powering a cab!

Your speakers were active but the cab is powered by a power amp, you could use the pod as a preamp and buy a power amp and then it'll work but not with only the pod
