A Sweeping Noise

Pavel ive been working hard on sweeps lately but when i play them i am muting the strings with my right hand but when i move my finger 2 the next string i can still hear a little muted "pop" from the open string should this be happening or am i doing something wrong

That "pop" will be gone once you get sweeping to a decent speed. You of course can hear it if playing slow. But sweeping is mostly played fast so that sound will be gone.
