I want to be able to play Canon Rock in about a year. I can play a good bit of it right now, but once it gets to the massive arpeggio about 1/3 through, I just can't do it. So for now I just skip it and do like a harmonic squeal or something because is impossible but once you get further into the song there are a ton of 3 string arpeggioes. The arpeggioes on this site I can play fast and cleanly, but the ones in Canon Rock are designed different and I can't figure out how to place my fingers to play it correctly. I dont know much about theory so I'm just gonna refer to the first type of arpeggio that is used all over this site as Arpeggio A, and the arpeggioes that are used in Canon Rock as Arpeggio B.
Arpeggio A is like this
|--19p15-------------15h19p15------------ 15~-----|
|----------17-----17--------------17---- 17-----------|
|--------------16----------------------16--------------|
|--------------------------------------------------------|
|--------------------------------------------------------|
|---------------------------------------------------------
with this type of Arpeggio, I can play each individual note seperately
Arpeggio B is like this
--14p10------------10h14p10h14p10------------10h14p10-|
----------10-----10---------------------10-----10-------------|
--------------11-----------------------------11----------------|
-----------------------------------------------------------------|

--12p9-----------9h12p9h14p9-------12p9-------|
---------10---10------------------10---------10---|
-------------9-------------------------9----------9-|
-----------------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------------------------|

--10p7----------7h10p7h10p7----------7h10p7-|--9-5----------5h9p5h5p2-----5p2-----|

--14p10--------14p10-------15p10---------17p14---------|
----------10-------------10-----------10-------------15-----|
--------------11-------------11------------11------------14-|
---------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------|
--19p15-------------15h19p15h19p15------------15h19p15--|
----------15-----15---------------------15-----15--------------|
--------------16-----------------------------16------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------|

I added a whole section, so you could see the pattern. With this type of arpeggio, he does a pulloff, then hits the fret directly above the one he pulled off of. The only way I can figure out how to do this quickly is to bar the 2 frets, but then you would have 2 notes ringing together which I'm not sure if that would sound very good at a fast speed. So does anyone know how to play these types of arpeggioes???
