For Swedes, that name is a tad unfortunate.

Tre' apropos eh? It's a 10 string Rhunking beast!!!
Without the 'h' (which is kind of silent anyway), it means "shake", commonly interpreted as "shaking" something specific. |

Well, I finally accept djent as a real genre, and now there's another? The only difference I see is that the turnings keep getting lower and the string amount keeps incresing

A new genre even lower!!! I wonder when we will have that genre that is as low than we can really hear it... a frequency around 15 hz maybe? what would be the name for that one? I propose: SILENJENT

All kidding aside, the "BROWN SOUND" often refers simply to the thick/distorted/effecty sound made popular by Eddie Van Halen.
here is a link where they break down all the needed gear to make a "brown sound" rig and it's pretty basic. High gain amp, solid body guitar, essentially build an early vanhalen rig and rip the tone knob off the guitar http://www.jfrocksguitarlessons.com/jfrock...brownsound.html What does it exactly mean? It's a real musical notion! Thanks for the article mate |
