Like Hisham said.. Any will do, just make sure the ohm-rating is fitting. (500k ohm for humbuckers)
These ones would be good: http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Long-Shaft-A-500K-Po...1QQcmdZViewItem -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio

1MOhm pots could work too if you desire a brighter tone.
I'd get A and B pots, i.e different kinds for volume and tone, audio taper and linear. If you put a linear pot for volume you'll turn your knob up to 7-9 and you get very little change, then up to 10 you'll get all the volume. Or at least that how the ear will pick it up. Also a condensor could help the sound a bit, not sure what would work better though, a 0,047 for the LP I suppose. Or higher is you want to kill treble. -------------------- My bands homepage

Also make sure to get the long shaft version, the ones with a short shaft won't fit into a Les Paul.

Also make sure to get the long shaft version, the ones with a short shaft won't fit into a Les Paul. this doesnt apply to some guitars. all Gibson lespauls require the long shafts but most Epiphones use the normal size pots -------------------- Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ Dual EMG 81 Pickups.
