Killswitch and as i lay dying are good too, and i enjoyed the latest unearth record, but id put BFMV under the Emo-Core genre. Great! I like Bullet For My Vallentine and Killswitch Engage (a lot!). I'll check the other links.
"I don't take labels too seriously as long as the music is good..." The same here. The only interesting thing of the labeling for me is to dicover new bands. -------------------- My lessons

I don't take labels too seriously as long as the music is good... I absolutely agree, the only labels that matter to me are "I like that song" and "I don't like that song" -------------------- Guitars: various Gibson Les Pauls / Gibson J 45

My votes go to Throwdown,Atreyu, August Burns Red, Becomeing the Archetype, Chimaria, Full Blown Chaos, the best way to find Metalcore bands is to go on myspace, find 1 metalcore band and then check out all their top friends Thank you Smikey. I've never heard about some of those bands. I'll check them. -------------------- My lessons

Don't know if it falls under the label metalcore (rather humorcore) but Psychostick is a pretty good band.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut8TtblR5gM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awzyLJFh1lQ...feature=related I'll have to warn you though. The lyrics don't make any sense (actually the do, but that is another story) and the video's are somewhat disturbing (though they are relatively family friendly). contains some explicit language. |

I consider Trivium's "Ascendancy" one of the best metalcore records ever. I also enjoy God Forbid and Lamb of God

Bullet For My Valentine - Waking The Demon
As I Lay Dying - The Beginning Bullet For My Valentine and As I Lay Dying are my favourites in this genre. And these two songs are really beautiful/powerful/fantastic. -------------------- Chuck Norris rules! |
