If my wife throws me out because I bought another piece of gear can I move in with you?

I found a set of Yamaha DTXpress drum pads on Craigslist and bought them.

Man, playing drums is awesome. No "what key are we in?" or "what mode goes over that chord progression?" You just sit there and hit things!

I'm working my way through your lessons. They're helping me tons. I played something last night and my daughter (17) wanted me to show her how to do it, too.

Nah... I think it's just Kyle that makes it look that easy biggrin.gif
I believe there's some other things you have to think about while playing drums... but of course you're right about the key and chord progression! smile.gif

Drums are cool however i've never really wanted to be a drummer always a guitarist. I intend to get fruity loops eventually though and learn how to use that smile.gif

Meanwhile, Kyle is making it very hard for me to not buy a set of midi drums for my basement wink.gif

Mine are current set up in the room right across from the master bedroom. I give my wife another week before she makes me move them.

The only bad part about where they are now is that I can't practice them at 5AM when I'm normally practicing guitar.
