Singer from the band L.E.A.F. and sing Kati Ran doing a Norwegian folk tune called Vinda (Written by Maria Franz of EUZEN when she was only 14) with just vocals and Harps. It almost sounds like the intro to an epic Metal tune. I kept waiting for the guitars to kick in smile.gif It works by itself though. Whaddya think?

I like this type of music too. it Always seems to "lift me up" and take me to a nice pub, somewhere in a small town, amongst locals, drinking cheap but great beers cool.gif

Nice! I"m digging in to lots of European Folk stuff lately it seems smile.gif I'm diggging a band called L.E.A.F. http://www.leaf-music.com/(one of the blonde gals in the vid, on the left, Kati Ran is in the band) and the other one has her own thing called HELISIR http://helisir.com/

Both are the real deal. Very authentic gals. Kati helped build the Harp like instrument, called a Kraviklyra, she's playing in the vid. Here she is traveling to help build it.

The gal in HELISIR just crowd funded her new CD and I"m ordering a copy. Both are just killer vocalists and instrumentalists IMHO. I don't even mind that they sing in a rare form of old Norwegian smile.gif
