Just a suggestion - when recording a song for others to hear/see it - you should definitely make it with backing track because otherwise it just sounds like improvising all the way.

how do i get a backing track? do i make my own or is there downloadable things and how can i find one that will fit something i've written if a downloadable backing track is made by someone else ? If you want to make your own tracks (and it sounds like you have a lot of ideas) then you need something a little better than a webcam to do your recording. You should check out programs like Cubase that allow you to set up an entire recording studio on your PC, and multitrack everything in a cleanly recorded way. You will also need some hardware to get the sound into your computer, but this is fairly cheap these days and would make a great birthday or christmas present. Check out the Line 6 Pod range for starters - there are many others. This will allow you to record some rythym guitar, a sequenced drum track and maybe some Bass as a backing for your lead, and you will see that your ideas will come to life and sound a lot more professional. There is a lot to learn here, but it is immensely satisfying and a lot more rewarding than just sitting in your room and shredding - for starters, you can make CDs of your music and hand them out amongst your friends -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
