What sold me is actually having a nice amp to run it through and not really needing to record anything. Value wise, even though it is more expensive, i think the nova system is a better value. If you look at TC Electronics individual pedals at about $250-$300 each, you get about 6 or 7 pedals worth of stuff in the nova for much less then the cost of the individual pedals. Quality wise, this one is probably better, but I've always liked Boss products as well so..
