This is a demanding lesson and I can see that you will be mastering this one with some more weeks of hard work. I notice that the current tempo is a bit fast if you want to polish the details needed so I recommend to set a slower tempo and work on each lick at a time trying to make everything sound more consistent.

Your timing is ok, but your fingers are not ready to change the positions at this speed and that's why the parts don't sound smooth, and the chord changes sometimes have unwanted silences in between. I also note that some of the fast palm muting passages are not sounding clear, so this parts also need your attention.

The good news are again that you understand the riffs and the rhythm, so you just have to focus on making everything sound clearer and smoother.

You're correct about the upstroke and 2 downstrokes in the section from 0:28 - 0:54.It's a very useful approach to picking chords fast. However, don't forget that you need to catch both strings of the power chord with the upstroke. In most cases you're only hitting the A string but not the D string as well. It's only the upstrokes which need the full 2 notes, the downstrokes are just single notes in between. Don't be afraid to move your whole hand to catch the upstrokes.

Other issues are mainly making sure to catch the notes of a chord, like at 0:11. Sometimes you only pick the root note instead of the Root+5th. It's an easy mistake to make.. sometimes the pick just doesn't get all the notes. But one thing that may be an issues (I'm just guessing) is that in your attempts to keep your picking motions small, you might not give enough movement when you actually need it. With rhythm playing you can afford a bit of extra hand & wrist movement. Even the forearm moves more in rhythm playing. So don't be shy about adding a bit more movement to get all the notes of a chord.

I can notice some lack of clarity at the beginning - I think you still need to work out "your new metal tool" Similar thing is happening in the middle break. I guess you need to master that way of picking a little more to get it more tight timing-wise. Aside from that I have nothing to complain. Nie tone and nice unwanted noise muting
