That should have read 'not being familiar' ! tongue.gif

P.S. I didn't really guess the riff.. I only guessed Annihilator as soon as Slav wrote 'Canadian..'

But I guess I'd better submit the next one to keep it smooth smile.gif

Ok, here it is.. guess the riff !

Here's my take, one 90's classic masterpiece, i'm sure it's very fammiliar to you guys!!
(btw can anyone explain me how can i get better sound *without big hiss in Guitar rig 5 pro)

Gotta tweak those GR5 patches and use the Noise gate for the hiss, I cant use many GR patches without gating them, too noisy.

Totally forgot about finding a new riff, sorry! Slav reminded me, so here's a quick one smile.gif Didn't bother much with the impulses, so the tone aint much, but if you know the song, then you'll know this riff! wink.gif

Hint 1 and hopefully only: The guitar player have played with one of the guitar players from the last guess the riff!

I"d say try some of the presets in my GUITAR RIG THREAD! smile.gif All of the GUITAR RIG 4 PRESETS are compatible and I dare say every single one of them sound a bit better than the example at hand. I know what your up against though. The stock presets can be sort of, well, crappy.

Try this one! It's from LESSON 70

Demo Sound (Notice how it's punchy but not mushy?)

Thanx TODD,
ii could get better INPUT tone by lovering down the Michrophone BOOST in my realtek HD Options.
When i had Microphone boost turned on, it was a lot of BASS while playing on lover E string .
The sound;s now a little bit crispier!!

Right! I'll round up to 24 hours, so next one who wants can post a new riff!
The guitarist was Ron Jarzombek as you said, in the band Blotted Science with the song Synaptic Plasticity!
