> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Here is Ben's Blues. Great great jam from a pretty non-bluesy dude. Thanks guys!

Greg-meister !

Very nice... as I said in the Bushido thread, just a couple of flat bends and I think some licks could benefit from more 'snap' and attitude like at 0.17. It's hard to describe what I mean by 'snap' but it's like the phrases need to be jerked out at the last minute.. it's like waiting until the moment has almost passed and then the lick happens quickly. Almost behind the beat. All blues mojo stuff !

To make Bens Blues Mojo more clear: you have to lose your woman first, she has to run away, taking your guitar with her, you have to suffer and really feel the blues... tongue.gif Seriously, great take!

Ben's advices are clearly the best as this is his creation - other than that, I really don't have anything to add! Great going G-man!

Good playing mate! As Ben said, there are some thing to adjust as timing in some fast licks and some bends and vibratos but the overall is really good. Your tone is also great! It's another 9 from me. wink.gif
