Hi here

i love guitar , but i love olf computer too, specialy Unix worstation and servers, and i focus on SGI (Silicon Graphics) and Sun stuff.

i have buyed and 'll receive tomorow a sun Ultra1 workstation , maxed out of course.

i also have buyed on ebay a Commodore 128 + disk drive 1541 + a printer, it's not unix related but it was my first computer, i also have buyed a C64 and a Vic20.

these 'll be in a perfect place between all my SGI stuff wink.gif

and what about you ??

In Graduate school we had a full onyx rack system that was specd out. At the time, it was one of the fastest machines money could buy and it didn't come cheap. I think it was 250k. We were using it to scan 35 mm film in for fx processing using a system by kodak called CINEON. It was great fun smile.gif

to this day I still want a thinking machine, ( they used to be crazy pricey)
