Well I've looked around and places list it as "Em" and as E7 and I'm not sure what exactly it is?

(and google aint helpful on this: "bug track number 330220" is the result lol and E7 or Em are the 2 it finds when I say "Define chord:"

so can anyone tell me what it actually is?

If you means:

---0---
---2---
---2---
---0---
---3---
---3---

That would be the notes G C D A C# and E which is a bit of a mess chord wise

If on the other hand you mean:

---3---
---3---
---0---
---2---
---2---
---0---

That would be E B E G D G which would be an Em7.
